My profound thought for the day yesterday left me almost as fast as it came to me. It was a good one too. Today I have thought about so many things through out the day. In the midst of taking care of everyone and running to the bank and grocery store, cleaning up a full cup of smoothy that was meant for my breakfast and of course trying to keep everyone safe and formally educate my children, I thought of a few comments I have heard in the news lately.
I hear that Ann Romney has been the subject of much criticism because she was "only" a stay at home mom. The comment that she never had to leave the house before 7 came up. No she didn't have to get herself ready and out the door by 7, she got 5 other people ready and out the door. I know I am preaching to the choir on this one because everyone that I know of that reads this blog has a great respect for mothers. I would like to invite those critics to come to my house for a day or a week and see how easy and laid back life is. And don't come on one of these beautiful spring days. Come when it has been rainy for a week and kids are cranky and at least one is sick and the others are tired of being stuck in the house together. It is work to keep it all going well.
No matter what your political thoughts are, give mothers the credit they deserve. The Romney family has raised successful and productive members of society and I am sure that Ann Romney being at home to raise her children certainly played a part in that.
I guess I do think of grown up non home school things every so often.

Did her kids go to early morning seminary or did they grow up in Utah? I'm guessing several of those teenager years was spent getting kids up and ready for seminary!
Amen! You thought of that in a day? I'm impressed. I don't usually think past cleaning up the smoothie. ;)
Love it!
I guess Hilary Rosen didn't get the memo....http://www.salary.com/stay-at-home-mom-infographic/
