David had lifted off. He jumped today and got both feet off the ground at the same time. He has been trying to jump for a long time and when he jumped of a curb at Costco today, I noticed that both of his feet came off at the same time. When we got home he started to jump around the garage. I love it when I can remember the first time my kids do something. I can still remember the first time Andrew jumped. We were in the hallway at church leaving and Levi and I were walking behind him. It is such a fun memory to have. He was just about the same age as David.
Andrew has gone from jumping to reading like a mad man. Levi brought out the Work and the Glory books from downstairs to read to the boys. Andrew picked up the first one yesterday morning and just finished it. Seriously. I am guilty of going easy on him with school work when he is reading a book like that. Math, band and reading is a pretty easy going day.

And that's what is so awesome about being truly "present" in your children's lives! Anthony got up on his hands and knees for the first time the other day, and to capture the look on his face as he was doing something new was priceless. Those memories do stick with you. =)
I hear you on easy school days- today was "art" (a.k.a. coloring pages,) "botany" (a gardening class at Marilyn's house) and P.E. (a family walk / bike ride.) I totally call that a day!
