Andrew and Bryson have thoroughly enjoyed the mud in our back yard. I have been sharing my plans to complete this summer and they were not happy about it including the demise of their mud pit. After the conversation I overheard today, I may let them be in charge of the landscaping for the next few years.
Andrew said, "Sometimes we are worst enemies, but then we're best friends, like right now."
At that point I decided the mud pit could stay. It is one thing they both love.
Today they even made it "educational" by building a dam. My junior engineers at work.

can i come play?
Sure, just put a BIG towel by the back door...
That is really sweet and makes for some great childhood memories. I've decided that a usable, lived-in backyard is much better for kids than a pretty landscaped one.
Oh, that is so sweet and worth the mud!
