I didn't believe that there were really stray peacocks in the neighborhood, but the picture proves it. Levi said that when he came back outside after I left these two were eating some plants by our porch. I thought it must have been turkeys, but he assured me it was peacocks. He told me he had to chase them away because they were not afraid of him. He chased them across the street. (Sorry Frank) Catherine and I happened to look out our front window later on and saw them on Frank's brand new front porch. Brand new like the cement was just poured on Saturday. Levi offered to catch them and put them in the back yard for pets. I wasn't sure how I felt about that and so they stayed at Frank's for a while. So... If you know anyone who is missing a pair of peacocks you can let them know where to look.
Welcome to our life. We enjoy our family and hope that this blog will bring many smiles to you and your famliy.

A Little Trivia
I called my friend Katie yesterday with a little trivia question. What would eat the top half of my strawberry plant, that didn't have any berries on it yet, and leave the bottom half alone? Just the top leaves were gone and the stems were still there. (We have discussed strawberry eating animals in the past. Skunks are not one.) By this morning I decided it must have been a rabbit, but when I got home from getting the boys from school Levi had a different answer for me.

that is so weird that they eat only the tops. Good think you found out how it was happening.
NO WAY!
That is really wierd. So do you think they are someone's pets or are they just wild? Crazy.
Wow, I didn't realize there were peacocks in CP. If owners never step forward I think I know just the place for them...let me know. My father in law has wanted peacocks for quite a while and this might be a good father's day gift for him.
They are gone now, but I want them back. The next day I was told they help keep snakes away!
