While Levi was off having fun at Disney Land, my niece Jenna and I were having our own fun. She came to help me for a couple of days and was great company. I wanted to do something fun with her and so I broke out the hair clip supplies. I have a ridiculous amount of ribbon and she loved it. It felt so good to hold my glue gun again. Every time I go into my laundry room I see my ribbon and have be longing to get at it. Thank you Jenna for giving me a reason to get it out.
Catherine is wearing her new bow. I am impressed that she wore it for so long. Usually I am lucky to get one in at all. Of course Jenna did put this one in her hair.
This is what David thought of the whole hair bow thing.
Here are the hair pieces we made today. I gave Jenna my bag of flowers to look at and she put a couple together for herself and one for her sister. We made sure to make a couple of bows for the other cousins that live close to Jenna.
My first garden is now officially planted! I am so excited to see how things grow and hope that our family gets to eat most of the food and not have it feed the wild life around us. Great thanks to Katie for the boxes and to Levi for his manual labor filling the boxes with dirt. It only took all day to get everything in and then watered, but it is in! It is amazing what you can do in a day when you have an extra set of arms.

Naomi, those hair bows are so cute, and how nice to finally have a backyard to garden in!! Good to see you are getting a little bit of "you" time after having a baby. There's more of that on the way!
When I come out next time I want you to teach me how to make those bows. I know how to do the flowers but those bows are to die for!
They look great! My plan for calling you Wednesday morning to see how your first 24 hours had gone was out shadowed by a mastitis infection that had me in bed for 2 days...thank goodness for good friends and family who helped me and my family servive! I'm glad you had a great time with Jenna!
How did you grow an extra set of arms? Please teach me...lol
