I realized today that I have a new pet. It came into my home a couple of days ago and just wont go away. It must of know the storm was coming. What is it you ask. A little house fly. I wouldn't have ever thought this, but when I was rocking Catherine this afternoon I realized that when I am downstairs this fly follows me. While making lunches this morning it was on the kitchen counter "watching". At nap time in the family room it was continually landing on me and flying around my head. I was holding Catherine a little later and it came and sat on my knee. I then thought about the last few days and the pesky little thing had been doing the same thing. Strange.
Now my dilemma. Is it OK to kill a pet? I figure it may just become one more thing for Andrew to look at under his microscope:)

I killed our pet fly yesterday...... but it wasn't as sweet as your pet fly so I completely justified it. I got annoyed that it lasted past the 3 days that flies normally are around. This one was buzzing around our house for about 5 days and driving me crazy!
At least it's a low maintenance pet! I would just shew it out the door.
well, you could always put him on a leash! no really! I've done it! hehe - trick is to freeze it first, then use floss for the leash- it's nice and light, and when little pet fly wakes up from his cold nap, bzz. . . off he'll go. sick! I know!
